1902 Tap and Grill: A Culinary Gem in South Range, MI

This restaurant was definitely a 5 star experience! Food was so good and service was awesome too. The pretzels with beer cheese were mouth watering..the best I have ever had! If your looking for a great place to grab dinner with delicious food you will not be disappointed

I really enjoyed my visit to the 1902 Tap and Grill. The service was outstanding, very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The beer cheese soup and pizza are excellent, and I look forward to enjoying them again, However, I was excited to try the Potato Rounds appetizer special, but was disappointed. They were very dry, and there was hardly any cheese on them. I actually thought they forgot the cheese, because the bacon bits and green onion toppings were not on the potatoes, rather all loose in the bottom of the basket, but there were a couple of sprinkles of cheese on the last few potatoes. Overall, though, I really enjoyed the restaurant and plan to return.

Been meaning to go try this place for awhile and we weren’t disappointed, pizza was very good. Service was great and spoke to owner who was a very nice lady. We will Most certainly go there again, well worth the drive!!!

Great food, great price, quaint little place, very friendly staff and owner was very pleasant. Homemade chips were amazing! We’re from out of state and would definitely come back to this place!!

We walked in just before 8pm and it was empty. Fantastic service and the food was amazing. The food came out instantly, was hot, and all homemade. A great experience!!

So glad we stopped by 1902 on Tap today. We have driven by a few times now and decided to give it a try. Great service and great food. We will definitely make this a regular stop when we come back to the UP. Hopefully, our waitress Heather will be here when we come back. Thank you!!

1902 Tap and Grill is a great place to catch up with friends, kick back and enjoy some great food and drinks! My friends and I went in on Saturday, December 14 2024. One of the owners, Craig, served us at the bar. Great and friendly service and the Italian beef sandwich and fries was outstanding! Very easy to access the building, and nice, clean updated atmosphere. Props to 1902 Tap and Grill for a memorable experience and fun had by all! We will be back!

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing! Our waiter was so sweet and attentive, the atmosphere was so relaxed and cozy, and the food was some the best I've had at a restaurant! Everyone in our group was absolutely floored with how good and fresh the food was! The potato chips are even homemade! The menu is small, but if you can have a small menu but can nail every dish to perfection, then the small menu is not a problem!
